Job summary

Spring Arbor Senior Living of Leesburg is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide or Med Tech to support residents with medication administration and daily care in our Assisted Living community.

Under the supervision of the Resident Care Director, you will help maintain a safe, resident-centered environment, coordinate with care teams, and participate in activities while upholding our high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of experience with senior adults highly preferred.
• May be a CNA/NA license depending on state requirements; if licensed or certified, must be in good standing with the state agency.
• Must possess a current Medication Training certification(RMA).
• Must pass a criminal background screening.
• This is a drug-free workplace; associates must comply with the company's Drug-Free Workplace policy.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or as required by state regulations.
• Experience with computerized resident documentation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Approach all interactions with residents, associates, and visitors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Assist residents with medications as allowed under state guidelines.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfers, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Communicate daily with Resident Services associates to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in and help lead resident activities as needed.
• Maintain a strong focus on resident satisfaction and customer service.
