Job summary

Sitio El Tropicano — Barberry, part of the Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, is seeking a friendly Server to deliver attentive, knowledgeable service in Barberry. You will guide guests through the menu, coordinate with culinary and bar teams, and help create a polished dining experience.

Reporting to the F&B Manager, you will manage an assigned section, explain dishes and beverages, note allergies, and ensure accurate order entry and timely service.

Qualifications

• Experience in full‑service settings is preferred.
• Ability to explain menu items, ingredients, and allergens.
• Knowledge of wine, cocktails, beer, and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Strong communication and guest-relations skills.
• Food Handler and TABC certifications required or obtainable quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests while maintaining attentiveness.
• Guide guests through menu selections and dietary notes.
• Enter orders accurately and coordinate with kitchen and bar.
• Maintain service pace and coordinate timing of courses.
• Process payments and thank guests at departure.
• Uphold Barberry hospitality standards and safety policies.
