Job summary

The National Outdoor Leadership School is seeking a River/Winter Program Supervisor for NOLS Teton Valley in Driggs, Idaho. The role splits 150 days of program supervision with 45 days in the field across winter and summer courses, mentoring instructors and ensuring program quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have prior course-leading experience in river or winter environments, strong leadership and organizational skills, and a commitment to the NOLS mission and experiential education.

Qualifications

• Experience leading courses in river and/or winter environments.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise river/winter courses and field staff.
• Plan briefings and debriefings, and evaluate performance.
• Collaborate to recruit and develop faculty.
