Job summary

Mercury is a fintech company building banking solutions to simplify financial workflows for businesses. The Risk team handles limit increases, reviews account activity, and makes timely risk decisions to protect the platform.

The role requires 2–3 years of risk experience in banking, fintech, or financial services, and knowledge of ACH, wires, SWIFT, checks, and debit cards. Strong communication and empathy are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in risk within banking, fintech, or financial services.
• Knowledge of banking products like ACH, wires, SWIFT, checks, and debit cards.
• Strong communication, empathy, and ability to manage relationships with external parties.

Responsibilities

• Respond to limit increase requests and review account activity to determine expected usage.
• Review overlimit transactions and remote check deposits, making risk decisions within cutoff times.
• Document rationale, write process documentation, and help train future teammates.
