Job summary

Hackbarth Delivery Service is seeking a Risk Management Coordinator 1 to support and develop the company’s safety and compliance programs. You will analyze safety data, coordinate training, and help ensure OSHA and FMCSA compliance across terminals.

The role requires the ability to learn new systems, work with HR and risk management, and travel frequently to support operations and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Security, Logistics or Business preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in Safety, Security/Loss Prevention, Claims or Logistics.
• Familiar with OSHA and FMCSA/DOT regulations; knowledge of local laws.
• Able to coordinate with agents, brokers and insured entities.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety data from assessments, logs and portals; report findings.
• Conduct terminal safety assessments and coordinate with leadership.
• Coordinate with risk manager on OSHA and DOT compliance.
• Develop training plans; conduct field training exercises.
• Coordinate with CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, and fire systems.
• Assist in safety communications and safety literature distribution.
