Job summary

Hackbarth Delivery Service in Mobile, AL is seeking a Risk Management Coordinator 1 to support and develop the safety and risk program across the organization. This role focuses on safety, security, loss prevention, claims administration and DOT/fleet services.

The position requires strong learning orientation, proficiency in Office 365, and the ability to promote safety across all departments. The role reports to the corporate risk manager and emphasizes proactive safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in safety, security, logistics or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in Safety, Security/Loss Prevention, Claims Administration or Logistics.
• Knowledge of OSHA and FMCSA/DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety data from terminal safety assessments and logs.
• Perform terminal safety assessments and report to leadership.
• Coordinate DOT/FMCSA compliance and driver training as needed.
• Develop and conduct Job Safety Analysis.
• Assist with Samsara program implementation and DOT-related training.
