Job summary

Harboroaks is seeking a detail-oriented Risk Coordinator to support the Risk and Quality Departments in maintaining a safe and compliant environment for patients, staff, and visitors. You will assist in executing the risk management program, lead incident investigations, and analyze data to identify potential risks.

The role requires cross‑department collaboration to develop corrective action plans, streamline incident reporting, and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a clinical healthcare field preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certifications required.
• First aid may be required depending on state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety by encouraging incident reporting.
• Lead investigations following incidents, complaints, and grievances.
• Identify risks that could potentially harm patients, staff, or visitors.
• Coordinate incident data collection and analysis from all departments.
• Develop corrective action plans for regulatory vulnerabilities in collaboration with facility leaders.
• Assist leadership with preparing materials for Risk, Quality, and Performance Improvement meetings and minutes.
• Participate in safety rounds and leadership rounding; report results and actions to leaders.
• Maintain department records and document activities.
• Coordinate staff training to ensure regulatory compliance across the facility.
