Track all reported claims, including matters that do not ultimately result in damages. Respond timely to litigation matters.

  • Owner Requests - Responding timely to any hotel owner request for information.
  • Hotel Requests - Responding timely to any hotel direct request for information or assistance.
  • Loss Prevention - Coordinate hotel site visits with carriers, visit selected hotels, analyze claims data to identify recurring risks and loss trends, and utilize carrier information to develop loss-prevention tools and practices for use across the company.
  • Certificates - Ensure that all required certificates are issued by the broker at each policy renewal and manage requests throughout the year
  • Portfolio Changes - Manage hotels which are joining and leaving the portfolio. For incoming hotels, gather information from ownership to complete exposure workbooks so the broker can issue quotes on lines of coverage. For exiting hotels, coordinate final coverage dates and manage return of unused premiums.
  • Billing - Work with the finance team to create and manage portfolio premium billings for all lines of coverage. Prepare allocations of premiums across the portfolio.
  • Audit Management - Manage annual workers' compensation audits, coordinate required information with the broker, review audit findings for accuracy, and support timely resolution of identified issues.
  • Payment Research - Work with Finance to verify that each hotel has issued required payments accurately and that the broker, carrier, or finance company has received, recorded, and posted those payments correctly. Research and coordinate the resolution of discrepancies.
