The role focuses on utilizing the TERM framework to reduce liability and foster a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. The position requires at least one year in risk management, with a strong focus on incident analysis, root cause testing, and collaboration with departments, legal, and corporate teams to drive continuous safety

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of Risk Management experience is required.
• State of Florida RN license, LCSW, or Risk Management related field is required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required, Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Risk Management Plan using the TERM document to reduce liability and promote a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Collaborate across departments to identify, analyze, and mitigate clinical and operational risks.
• Manage the electronic event reporting system and coordinate responses to adverse events.
• Support patient grievance processes, facilitate root cause analyses, and manage local claims with legal and corporate teams.
• Provide risk-related education, ensure accreditation compliance, and analyze incident data for trends and system-wide improvements.
