Job summary

TopLine Financial Credit Union is seeking a Risk Management Specialist to join our Risk Management team. You will monitor alerts, investigate and document cases, and assist with regulatory reporting such as SARs and CTRs.

The role emphasizes compliance with BSA and collaboration across departments. Ideal candidates bring 1-3 years in a financial institution, strong judgment, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promotes organizational culture and values through coaching and support.
• Reviews transaction monitoring alerts and applies decision making to actions or assignments.
• Investigates, documents and maintains records.
• Investigates, tracks and monitors reports of fraud and identity theft.
• Assists with SARs and CTRs preparation and maintenance.
• Compiles documentation for requests from third parties (subpoenas, warrants, law enforcement).
• Assists with compiling documentation for bond and insurance claims.
• Complies with all credit union policies, procedures and government regulations including BSA.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.

Job description

TopLine Financial Credit Union has been a member-owned financial services cooperative since 1935. We are looking for outgoing individuals to join our Risk Management team that is dedicated to building life-long relationships to help our members reach and manage their financial goals.

A successful Risk Management Specialist will be able to do:

• Promotes TopLine Financial Credit Union Red Book member service culture, philosophy and values ensuring quality and teamwork in all areas by coaching and providing support in the department and throughout the organization.
• Reviews transaction monitoring alerts, utilizes knowledge and applies decision making skills to take appropriate action or appropriately assigns alerts.
• Investigate, document and maintain records.
• Investigates, tracks and monitors reports of fraud and identity theft as directed.
• Assists with preparation and maintenance of Suspicious Activity Reports and Currency Transaction Reports.
• Assists with compiling documentation for requests from 3rd parties including, but not limited to, subpoenas, search warrants, law enforcement requests as directed.
• Assists with compiling documentation for bond claims and insurance claims when necessary.
• Complies with all applicable credit union policies, procedures and government regulations including BSA.
• Perform other tasks as assigned or requested.
  

Salary Range: $21.31 - $26.63 (hourly)
