Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and training staff in safety and risk programs.
• Knowledge of loss control, safety regulations, and liability risk factors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Office suite.
• Ability to investigate incidents and prepare factual reports.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, directs, and trains staff in operations and procedures.
• Implements loss control and safety measures; manages budgets for risk reduction.
• Manages workers' compensation and third-party claims; investigates accidents; files claims.
• Reviews property/liability insurance claims.
• Oversees internal claims audits; sets reserves.
• Participates in Emergency Operations Center when activated.
• Assists with budget preparation for risk management; calculates funding.
