Job summary

Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking a Risk Management Analyst to provide operational support and analysis of risk management programs, utilizing risk management software and reporting tools to help reduce the frequency and costs of claims. The role reports to the City’s Risk Manager and collaborates with City departments to implement risk-reduction strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 1-2 years' related experience acceptable in lieu of degree.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Proficiency with computer applications including Outlook, Word and Excel or databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and monitoring of accident/incident reporting procedures and risk reduction programs.
• Generate reports and loss trending analyses to help reduce injuries and liability losses.
• Coordinate responses to workers' compensation and third-party administrator activities.
• Produce ad-hoc reports and perform data analysis to support risk management decisions.
