Job summary

Oak View Group seeks a Risk Management Insurance Specialist to manage insurance operations for OVG and its subsidiaries, handling RMIS workflows, broker coordination, and COI processing across domestic and international exposures.

The role requires 3-5 years in commercial insurance and strong tech savviness. It offers a salary range of $67,560–$84,450 and bonus eligibility, with comprehensive benefits and a December 31, 2026 closing date for applications.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Insurance & Risk Management, Finance, or other quantitative fields.
• 3-5 yrs experience in a commercial insurance brokerage, insurance carrier, or corporate risk or insurance department is a plus.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in P&C, Executive Liability, Cyber, Professional Liability, crime, and other forms Commercial Insurance.
• Strong technology acumen and organizational skills.
• Hands-on and results-driven with strong project management, presentation, and technical skills.
• Ability to challenge the status quo, drive change where appropriate, and adjust to changing priorities.
• Detail-oriented with excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledgeable in RMIS systems.
• Experience with Riskonnect is a plus.
• Bilingual skills, Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as the RMIS Manager with necessary changes and workflow management within the system.
• Conduct invoice review and refer invoices for approval.
• Triage and processing follow-through of Certificate of Insurance (COI) requests.
• Management of client Certificates of Insurance through the RMIS platforms.
• Assist with the collection of data required to complete insurance applications, such as email requests for information, and prepare spreadsheets to summarize policy information.
• Initiate calls with the insurance brokers prior to insurance renewals to coordinate the distribution of certificates of insurance, auto identification cards, workers’ compensation posting notices, etc.
• Generate email correspondence to advise the Risk Management team and third parties of newly opened or closed locations.
• Request, review and maintain the insurance policies in the RMIS and be able to generate reports to summarize this information.
• Triage and assign tasks in Riskonnect.
• Upload new location and claim data into Riskonnect and maintain records.
• Pull necessary reports from the RMIS.
• Update and maintain the department intranet site.
• Support the development of department newsletters and company communications.
• Perform ad-hoc projects as necessary.

Position Summary

The Risk Management Insurance Specialist manages insurance operations for OVG and the entire complex of subsidiaries and risk exposures, domestic and international. Assist in the improvements to insurance operations workflows, and management of OVGs’s Risk Management Information System (RMIS.) Assist with coordination with brokers and internal staff to manage the day-to-day operations of insurance. Respond to insurance-related questions from the field and other operational departments. Prepare and respond to the insurance audit lifecycle process. Act as the RMIS system specialist.

This role pays an annual salary of $67,560 - $84,450 and is bonus eligible.
