Position Summary:

Life Cycle Engineering is seeking a Risk Management Analyst to oversee the application of Navy/DoD project principles in support of design, construction, testing, evaluation, and certification.

Clearance Requirements:
  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Identify program threats, risks, issues, opportunities, and constraints focusing on cost, schedule, and technical performance across the Land Based Engineering Testing Site to support design, construction, testing, evaluation, and certification processes.
  • Determine contingency plans and initiate appropriate planning, including identifying risk owners and stakeholders responsible for actions.
  • Assess mitigation, corrective action, and capture plans to ensure progress and resolution.
  • Communicate with stakeholders about processes for identifying, analyzing, mitigating, and managing program uncertainties with appropriate rigor.
  • Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts with limited industry knowledge.
  • Develop Risk Management reports and briefs.
  • Coordinate Risk Management Review Boards.
  • Perform cost estimation and analyze uncertainties.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical, Financial, or related fields.
  • At least 2 years of risk management and project support experience in a technical environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting, testing, and reading schematics in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering contexts.
  • Experience maintaining risks and issues in a Risk Register.
  • Experience creating Risk Report briefings for clients.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management processes, including identification, assessment, mitigation, and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:
  • Programming skills in Python, C++, Java.
  • Experience with Navy/DoD Risk Management practices.
  • Knowledge of US Navy terminology and processes or the ability to learn quickly.
Physical Demands and Expectations:
  • Regular physical activity including walking, climbing stairs, bending, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds, and standing; occasional prolonged sitting.
  • Ability to speak, read, hear, and write with or without assistance.
  • Ability to operate phones, computers, copiers, faxes, and other office equipment.
