Job summary

YES Communities in Denver, CO is seeking an Associate Risk Manager to support enterprise risk management, insurance, safety, and claims management across a national real estate portfolio. You will collaborate with operations, carriers, brokers, TPAs, and legal counsel to reduce risk and ensure regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and service-oriented, with 3–7 years in risk or insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; ARM/CPCU/AIC designations preferred.
• 3–7 years in risk management, insurance, claims administration, brokerage, underwriting, safety, or related fields.
• Experience in multifamily real estate, manufactured housing, or property management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of property, casualty, workers' compensation, auto, umbrella, cyber, and management liability insurance programs.
• Coordinate insurance applications, exposure data collection, underwriting submissions, and policy renewals.
• Review certificates of insurance, endorsements, and policy documentation for accuracy.
• Support contract insurance compliance reviews for vendors and service providers.
• Assist with policy interpretation and coverage inquiries from operations teams.
• Maintain insurance schedules, asset listings, and policy records.
