Job summary

Bank of China Limited, New York Branch is seeking an experienced risk governance professional to maintain, update and implement enterprise-level risk policies in line with current regulatory requirements. You will prepare the RMCC agenda, materials and minutes and support the CRO in promoting a strong risk culture across US operations.

The role includes committee secretariat duties, maintaining governance frameworks such as the Risk Management Framework and KRI procedures, coordinating quarterly

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required at hire; Master’s preferred.
• Internship experiences in Risk Governance preferred.
• Knowledge of risk management in a foreign branch and US regulatory processes preferred.
• FRM or CFA preferred.
• Bilingual English and Mandarin highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the functioning of BOCNY Risk Management and Internal Control Committee (RMICC).
• Coordinate quarterly USRMC meetings, set up agenda, materials, record votes and minutes.
• Coordinate with departments in BOCNY and HO for committee meetings.
• Maintain and enhance risk governance policies and procedures and promote implementation.
• Monitor regulatory changes and drive updates to documents and implementations.
• Develop and deliver training on Policy on Policies and Procedures.
• Prepare materials and support the CRO; produce accurate reports to HO; promote risk culture.
• Coordinate information gathering for bank-wide risk management activities.
