A leading company in the insurance sector is seeking a Risk Engineering Representative or Consultant to join its remote team. The role involves conducting risk assessments, advising clients on safety, and collaborating with a global network of specialists. Candidates should have a relevant degree and experience in risk management. The position offers flexibility with travel requirements and a company car.
This position will be remote in the state of Florida.
Zurich Risk Engineers travel to customer locations to perform risk assessments and advise customers across various industries. Our approach emphasizes consulting and loss prevention using engineering expertise, rather than solely focusing on checklists and regulatory inspections.
Our Middle Market Risk Engineering team provides detailed assessments of customers' facilities, focusing on Casualty (health and safety) and Property (fire protection, hazards, natural catastrophes), to help protect both our customers and Zurich from losses.
Depending on your experience with Property exposures, this role offers training to start an exciting career path in risk management, leveraging your technical education within a global insurance leader. As a Zurich Risk Engineer, you will analyze exposures, evaluate risks, and help customers understand and manage their risks. You will work in a flexible, fast-paced environment, travel to client sites, and collaborate with a global network of over 900 specialists, using advanced risk management tools and resources. Additionally, you will work with underwriting teams to assist in risk selection and retention.
This is a work-from-home role with travel estimated at 25-50%, depending on location. A company car is provided.
Final candidates will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Record check due to the company car provision.
The position will be filled at either the Risk Engineering Representative or Risk Engineering Consultant level. The final level will be determined based on the candidate's experience and skills.
Relevant experience includes working in a team environment and assessing risks based on specific competency standards.
