Ladders is seeking a Risk Data Scientist for a remote role in the Finance & Insurance sector. You will shape quantitative approaches to improve risk decision-making, support profitable growth, and strengthen model governance in a highly regulated environment.

You will work with large structured and unstructured datasets, applying advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to solve complex business problems. You will mentor junior researchers and communicate insights to leaders.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with six years of experience in a quantitative, analytical, or STEM field, or Master's with four years of experience in the same areas, or Ph.D. with four years of experience.
• Two years of hands-on experience with Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, or Spark.
• Three years of experience with statistical and predictive modeling concepts, including machine learning.
• Three years of programming experience analyzing large datasets using SAS, Python, or R.

For our client, we are seeking a Risk Data Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will help shape quantitative approaches that improve risk decision-making, support profitable growth, and strengthen model governance in a highly regulated financial environment. You will work across large structured and unstructured datasets, applying advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI to solve complex business problems. The position also partners closely with senior leaders, auditors, and business stakeholders to communicate insights, validate solutions, and ensure models are effectively implemented and monitored.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $101,008 – $145,720 annually
