Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a Risk Coordinator to support the Patient Safety/Risk Director in coordinating the facility-wide patient safety program and PSO compliance. The role will lead process-improvement initiatives to reduce medical errors and unintended adverse patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate is an RN with an Associate Degree and certifications such as CPPS, ASHRM, or CPHQ, plus at least 3 years of hospital experience.

Qualifications

• RN (Registered Nurse) credential is required.
• CPPS, ASHRM, and/or CPHQ certifications are preferred.
• 3 years hospital experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Patient Safety/Risk Director with coordination of the hospital's patient safety program and PSO compliance.
• Coordinate disease-response initiatives and service recovery efforts.
• Lead facility-wide process-improvement initiatives to reduce medical errors and adverse patient outcomes.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Coordinator assists the facility’s Patient Safety/Risk Director with coordination of the facility-wide patient safetyprogram, PSO compliance, disease-response initiatives, and Service Recovery. This role will coordinate processimprovement initiatives facility-wide in support of the reduction of medical/health care errors and other factors thatcontribute to unintended adverse patient outcomes.
