Job summary

City National Bank of Florida seeks a Data Analyst to deliver data-driven insights for risk reporting and governance. You will partner with BRCOs to support RCSAs, monitor data quality, and produce executive-ready dashboards and reports.

You will analyze large datasets, ensure data integrity, and translate findings into clear narratives for leadership. A quantitative degree and 2+ years in analytics are required, with strong SQL, Python, and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, operations analytics, or a related analytical role.
• Experience in financial services, risk management, compliance, or audit environments.
• Exposure to KRIs/KPIs and governance reporting.
• Familiarity with regulatory expectations and audit processes.
• Strong ability to work with large data sets using structured analytical methods.
• Intermediate proficiency in data programming, querying, and analysis tools such as Microsoft SQL, Python, C#, or similar technologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of reporting and visualization tools.
• Experience with reporting tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Excel).
• Ability to translate analytical findings into clear, executive-level narratives and visuals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing leadership-facing materials.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple analytical requests simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Partner with BRCOs to support reporting and analytics for RCSAs.
• Collaborate with Control Testing to produce data outputs for control testing activities.
• Monitor exception reports to identify data quality issues and support remediation.
• Prepare, design, and maintain departmental reporting including KRIs, dashboards, and scorecards.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data used in reporting.
• Analyze structured and semi-structured data to support risk identification and decisions.
• Maintain inventory of reporting tools, data sources, and control documentation.
• Assist in regulatory examinations and audits with reporting and analytics.
