Job summary

RSM is seeking a Risk Consulting Associate to work with diverse businesses and gain hands-on client experience with access to clients at various management levels. You’ll be assigned a Performance Advisor to help set career goals and develop professionally.

Projects include internal audits, SOX/compliance work, and financial reporting controls designed to provide timely insights and mitigate risks. Travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at least a B.A./B.S. degree; expected completion by June 2027.
• Major in Accounting (preferred), Finance, Data & Analytics.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Travel to client locations may be required; arrange reliable transportation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office.
• Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.
• Ability to work as an effective member of a team.
• High degree of integrity and professionalism.
• Certification or working towards CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sit in on client meetings and support conducting consulting projects.
• Prepare reports on consulting services performed for clients; discuss results and recommendations.
• Travel to client locations as requested to provide consulting services.
• Complete client projects efficiently per the project timeline and critical dates.
• Leverage Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze client information and document results.
• Attend conferences, trainings, and meetings to continue professional development.
