Job summary

RSM is hiring a Risk Consulting Associate in Houston to work with diverse clients on internal audits, SOX/compliance, and control projects. You will support project execution, analyze client data in Excel, and deliver insights to management, with travel to client sites as needed.

Ideal candidates pursue a BA/BS in Accounting or related field, have strong communication and MS Office skills, and aspire toward CPA certification.

Qualifications

Pursuing at least a BA/BS degree with completion by Dec 2026 or Jun 2027.
Major in Accounting preferred; Finance or Data & Analytics acceptable.
Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
Travel to client locations may be required; reliable transportation needed.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; MS Office proficiency.
Strong multi-tasking and project management abilities; team player.
CPA certification is preferred or being pursued.

Responsibilities

Sit in on client meetings and support conducting projects.
Prepare reports on consulting services and discuss results with clients.
Travel to client locations as requested to provide services.
Complete client projects efficiently within timelines.
Leverage MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to analyze client data and document results.
Attend conferences, trainings, and meetings for ongoing development.
