AXA XL Risk Consulting seeks a Machinery Breakdown Risk Consultant to conduct site visits and collaborate with internal teams for engineering loss prevention and risk assessment.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct loss prevention surveys on Machinery Breakdown perils, producing reports with loss scenario estimates and recommendations.
• Use internal and external tools to evaluate risk quality at the site level and communicate findings clearly to internal teams. Collaborate with AXA XL Risk Consultants to provide loss prevention services.
• Review complex risks across multiple Lines of Business and deliver optimal risk control solutions.
• Work directly with clients to improve their machinery breakdown risk profiles, demonstrating the value of risk control services and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• This position services U.S. territories, primarily remote work with occasional office meetings and client presentations. Travel is expected to be around 30%.

Report to the Machinery Breakdown Transversal Manager.

Share Your Talent

Ideal candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent; National Board Certification is a plus.
• Beginner to intermediate experience in Machinery Breakdown risk assessment or loss prevention. Basic understanding of risk management and underwriting concepts is preferred.
• Knowledge of equipment reliability standards; experience in Mining or Cement Industry is advantageous.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technical information to diverse audiences and influence decision-making.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills, capable of managing workload independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners on projects and industry initiatives.
