Occidental College is seeking a Manager of Risk Management and Compliance to strengthen the Office of the General Counsel with comprehensive risk management and compliance support across the College. The role reports to the General Counsel and collaborates with stakeholders on risk management, insurance, data privacy, compliance, and employment issues.

The position requires strong judgment, project management, and the ability to balance priorities in a complex liberal arts environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, risk management, compliance, legal studies, public administration, or related field.
• Five years of risk management, compliance, insurance, contract administration, or related experience, preferably in higher education or nonprofit.

Mansioni

• Develop and implement an enterprise risk management (ERM) framework and strategy.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure compliance with laws and institutional policies.
• Provide guidance on policy development, training, and education related to risk and compliance.
