Republic Business Credit is seeking a Risk and Compliance Support Specialist to ensure risk management and compliance standards are met. You will maintain due diligence, SOX reporting, and client reviews while coordinating with Risk, Underwriting and Legal teams.

The role emphasizes data integrity in Podio, timely filings, and collaboration with the Client Services team to support risk management and compliance processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of related experience minimum.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in MS Office required.
• Understanding of corporate financial statements and credit reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up new clients in Podio with Risk, Underwriting and Legal Management teams.
• Review and maintain ongoing due diligence and reporting; report notable items to risk and client services teams.
• Record and maintain due diligence results, background checks, and credit reporting.
• Maintain the Lien Tracking and UCC applications; ensure filings are current.
• Maintain Client Compliance Schedule and timely financial statement submissions.
• Monitor and report upcoming financial packages and overdue items.
• Assist in gathering client information and completing client reviews.
• Record completed client reviews and maintain review schedules.
