Job summary

PNC is seeking a LOB Risk Specialist - SOX & Internal Controls based in Pittsburgh, PA. This role supports the Corporate Controller’s Office, uniting risk management with financial and regulatory reporting to ensure accurate and timely outcomes.

You will work within the Finance Governance & Oversight Team, managing risk, controls, and certifications, while coordinating with auditors, regulators, and senior leadership as needed.

Qualifications

• University degree required with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Familiarity with risk frameworks (SOX, Basel, Regulatory Reporting).
• Strong communication and ability to challenge control environments.
• Experience with 2LOD governance and issue tracking in Archer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance within specified LOB and/or Shared Services.
• Understand FGO frameworks and methodologies.
• Serve as primary LOB contact to manage risk and controls.
• Perform 2LOD review, governance, and certifications.
• Communicate issues timely to management and committees.
