What you’ll do

Compliance Advisory & Governance

• Provide clear, practical compliance advice and guidance to Operations and Services
• Support the interpretation and application of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, including jurisdictional differences
• Assist in managing compliance risks and contractual obligations across the organisation
• Champion a positive, proactive culture of compliance aligned to the Nido Way

Audits, Monitoring & Reporting

• Support the development, standardisation, and implementation of compliance checks and tools
• Monitor completion of mandated audits and compliance activities
• Assist with compliance reporting for Operations, Executive Leadership and Board reporting
• Support the review and maintenance of policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements

Incident & Risk Management

• Support services and PQLs with high-risk incidents, investigations, and compliance matters
• Assist in the management of reportable incidents and regulatory notifications
• Analyse incident and audit data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Support proactive risk identification and mitigation across services

Training & Capability Building

• Assist in the development and delivery of compliance-related training and resources
• Support research into best practice and continuous improvement initiatives
• Help build compliance capability across leaders and service teams

What you bring

• 5 years of experience in compliance, regulation, governance, or risk (ECEC experience highly regarded)
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements
• Experience supporting audits, investigations, or regulatory reporting
• Ability to provide practical, solutions-focused advice in complex environments
• Strong written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills
• High attention to detail with a strong sense of accountability
• Confidence working with sensitive and confidential information
