Job summary

Nurtury Early Education seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Early Learning Centers to assist the Senior Director in the operational oversight of three centers, with a focus on quality improvement initiatives and training activities.

You will conduct observations, coach educators, and design training while ensuring compliance with EEC standards and accreditation processes. This role offers benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold EEC Director II certification.
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Education or related field.
• 5-7 years of leadership in an early childhood program.
• Experience coaching educators and providing feedback.
• Familiarity with EEC licensing, NAEYC accreditation, CLASS and ITERS/ECCERS.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observations and assessments to improve educator skills and activities and support quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Senior Director, center directors and the Early Childhood Team to enhance services and implement standards.
• Design and implement training for educators and administrators to continuously improve program quality.
• Manage projects including accreditation, licensing, and use of observational tools; provide coverage in the absence of the Program Director.

Job description

Nurtury is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Early Learning
Centers to Assist the Senior Director of Early Learning Centers in the
operational oversight of Nurtury\'s three early learning centers, with a
special focus on the design, execution and coordination of quality
improvement initiatives and training activities.

What You\'ll Do:

• Conduct observations and program/classroom assessments to improve or enhance educator skills and other activities in support of quality standards.
• Work in collaboration with the Senior Director of Professional Development, center-based Program Directors, and the Early Childhood Team to enhance program services, implement quality standards and best practices.
• Design and implement training for educators and administrators to continuously improve the quality of programs and the skills of educators.
• Manage projects which include but are not limited to: accreditation, licensing, and use of observational tools including Environmental Rating Scale Provide operational coverage in the absence of the Program Director as needed.

You:

• Are EEC Director II certified (required)
• Hold a Bachelor\'s Degree, preferably in EEC or related field
• Are experienced with 5-7 years in early childhood program leadership
• Are experienced in providing feedback to and coaching educators
• Are knowledgeable about EEC licensing standards, NAEYC accreditation standards, and classroom observation tools such as CLASS and ITERS/ECCERS
