About the Role:

Works cross-functionally to support the continued development, implementation, and oversight of the organization's Third Party Risk Management Program. Reports and assesses risks with the help of tools and direction provided by management.

What You Will Do:

  • Designs and manages the implementation of risk management process for the organization including complex risk assessments involving analyzing risks associated with third parties and identifying, describing, and estimating the risks affecting the business and corporate initiatives.
  • Assists in the oversight of the Third Party Risk Management Ensures compliance with the risk management policies and facilitates ongoing independent risk assessments as needed.
  • Completes variance trend analysis and provides support and justification.
  • Assists in the development and enhancement of the Third Party Risk Management policies and procedures.
  • Monitors, reviews, and develops risk reports in an appropriate way for different audiences.
  • Performs problem management, resolution, and escalation of issues as necessary.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert in Merchant Acquiring risk
  • Performs initial and periodic risk assessments of third parties, such as processors, payment facilitators, ISOs, marketplaces etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
  • Solid experience in Merchant Acquiring, merchant processing and/or adjacent verticals.
  • Strong background in credit analysis, financial analysis, risk monitoring, periodic review and/or remedial risk management. At least 5 years.
  • Above average knowledge of Merchant Acquiring and the payments sector, specifically the rules and regulations, industry developments and best practices.
  • Previous experience in sponsor bank oversight capacity, a plus.
  • The ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and risk assessments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven quantitative and analytical skills

Salary range: $59,902.68 – $110,630.79

The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.
