Role Overview

This foundational role offers a unique opportunity to develop analytical skills while learning from experienced executives. As a Risk Solutions Analyst, you will gain a deep understanding of global risk markets and play a vital role in servicing our clients.

This position is ideal for intellectually curious and driven individuals who can learn quickly, solve complex problems, and thrive in a high-pressure environment. You will use our proprietary platform to model client circumstances, run analyses, and generate insights for our clients and broader business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quantitative Analysis & Financial Modeling:
    • Apply your analytical skills and market knowledge to create insights that help shape clients' investment and risk management thinking.
    • Use our proprietary platform to model client circumstances, run scenario analyses, and conduct stress tests.
    • Develop and refine financial models to evaluate complex insurance transactions and structures.
    • Support the design of tailored risk solutions by modeling financials, claims data, and investment scenarios.
  • Delivery:
    • Enable our team of Risk Strategists by preparing materials for client meetings, conducting research, and providing the analytics needed to grow client relationships.
    • Assist in structuring and arranging reinsurance and fronting arrangements.
  • Market Intelligence:
    • Develop a deep and holistic understanding of the overall insurance and reinsurance industry, capital markets, and the concepts and trends in global financial markets.
    • Maintain a comprehensive view of the market to educate colleagues and help prepare for client presentations.
  • Systemization:
    • Model client and market circumstances in our domain using our proprietary analytics tools, keeping our domain up to date with the latest market intelligence.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree with a strong academic track record.
  • 2 years of professional experience, preferably at a bank, consultancy, asset manager, or technology firm.
  • Proven ability to manipulate and represent complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to help deliver clear, concise presentations.
