Job summary

Schneider Downs & Co., Inc. is offering a Risk Advisory Summer Intern opportunity in Columbus, OH.

You will work on internal audit engagements, risk assessments, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance while gaining hands-on exposure in a collaborative learning culture. You will be mentored by experienced professionals and participate in a hybrid work model with a focus on development, mentoring, and real client work across public and private sectors.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting.
• Anticipated graduation date between Dec 2027 and May 2028, with availability to start full-time by July 2028.
• GPA of 3.3 (3.0 minimum) or a combination of educational success and relevant work/volunteer experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute high-quality internal audit engagements and special projects.
• Collaborate with your team on compliance and advisory projects.
• Draft audit reports for management review.
• Assist in preparing risk assessments, audit plans and internal audit reports.
• Serve a diverse range of clients in both the public and private sectors.
