Schneider Downs is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst in Columbus to join our Tax Advisory Services. You’ll prepare and review corporate, individual and partnership returns, while delivering tax compliance and advisory support across diverse clients and industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of three years of public accounting experience.
• CPA license eligibility.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted member of the engagement team and provide tax compliance and advisory services
• Prepare and review various returns for engagements for a variety of clients across multiple industries from middle market to multinational companies
• Stay up-to-date on new standards and laws, participate in tax research projects on a variety of tax issues, help to draft IRS responses and address other tax authority inquiries
• Proactively communicate with engagement team and client on complicated tax matters and specialty tax practices
• Focus of professional development via coaching and mentoring tailored to each individual, as well as learning and growing from direct on the job coaching and mentoring
• Utilize your entrepreneurial spirit at a firm that values new ideas and innovation, allowing you to learn and grow quickly, as well as build strong internally and externally
• Support the growth and development of team members through coaching and mentoring
