Job summary

Schneider Downs & Co., Inc., an established accounting, tax, consulting and wealth management firm, is seeking an Audit Summer Intern for its Audit & Assurance Services practice in a hybrid work model in the United States. The internship runs from mid‑May to mid‑August, with full-time hours Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

You will work on financial statement audits, reviews and compilations, support audit procedures, and gain exposure

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting.
• Anticipated graduation Fall 2028 to Spring 2029.
• Availability to begin full-time work between January 2029 and October 2029.
• Plans to pursue CPA eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial statement audits, reviews and compilations across client industries.
• Review and document audit procedures over accounting areas.
• Research and analyze accounting and audit-related issues.
• Use data extraction, analytics, and visualization tools to provide insights to clients.
• Interact with the engagement team to gather information and propose improvements.
