Yuvo works to increase access to primary care by supporting federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), the institutions that have dedicated the most to care for underserved communities. We work with FQHCs to help scale the quality of care they provide by providing access to new payment systems, developing and optimizing operational infrastructure, and convening partnerships in the broader care ecosystem so that they can increase their capacity and deliver the highest quality of care to their communities.
About The Role
We are hiring a Risk Adjustment Coding Specialist to join our Risk Adjustment Team on a contract basis with the potential to transition into a full-time employee role. You will bring your experience as a subject matter expert in all things related to risk adjustment documentation, coding, and process. Reporting to the Director of Risk Adjustment, you will be responsible for implementing processes that allow for optimization of Provider documentation and coding capture through identified best practices.
This is a remote position for employees with required availability daily from 10 : 00am to 3 : 00pm EST and periodic travel to FQHC's clinics located throughout the New York market as required by business needs.
Compensation : $36-$41 per hour, commensurate with experience
Contract Type : Independent Contractor (with potential to transition to full-time employment)
