Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned medical coding professional to provide expertise and consultative support to IPA affiliates across the country. You will analyze trends, triage questions in real time, and deliver ongoing education to coding teams.

The role includes conducting quarterly chart reviews to evaluate coding accuracy and participating in a daily coder helpdesk to offer real-time provider support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of risk adjustment Medical Coding or risk adjustment Provider Education.
• Intermediate/advanced competency with MS Office based programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Certification CCS, CRC, or CPC.
• Must reside and be able to travel within the assigned MSO market or region.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical coding expertise and consultative support to IPA affiliates nationwide
• Analyzes trends, triages and answers questions in real time
• Delivers ongoing education and supports coding workflows for assigned providers
• Conducts quarterly chart reviews to evaluate coding accuracy
• Participates in daily coder helpdesk providing real-time support for providers
