You will work with educators to ensure coding accuracy and regulatory compliance, while meeting productivity targets in a faith-based health system.

Ideal candidates have CCS or CPC certification, strong interpersonal skills, and solid MS Office knowledge to support documentation and reporting across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• CCS or CPC certification required.
• HIPAA/compliance knowledge and willingness to follow guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Follow HIPAA protocol and comply with state and federal guidelines.
• Extract data for Health Plan reports and inputs data collected from HCC programs.
• Assign ICD-10 codes to document and represent patients' conditions accurately.
• Collaborate with coding and documentation educator to clarify documentation and ensure coding reflects illness severity.
• Meet productivity and accuracy metrics as defined by policy.
