Job summary

Interstate Moving | Relocation | Logistics is seeking a Junior Project Manager to assist the Project Manager in planning, directing, and managing project teams for large contract requirements.

This role involves developing work plans, coordinating resources, and communicating with clients and internal teams. Occasional travel to project sites is required; PMP certification is a plus and MS Project proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or 3+ years industry experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contract documents, work plans, and floor plans.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and MS Project; familiarity with asset management/inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in planning, directing, and managing project teams for large contracts.
• Develop work breakdown structures and project work plans.
• Identify resources and assign responsibilities; manage project risks.
• Maintain delivery schedules and stakeholder communications; liaise with customer, operations, and admin staff.
• Travel to out-of-town project sites as needed.
