Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking an entry- to mid-level Assistant Project Manager to join our Dallas team. The role involves obtaining and coordinating information to keep projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality.

You will work closely with the project team to protect client and business interests while developing leadership skills. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of commercial construction experience, a strong eye for detail, and proficiency with MS Office, ProCore, Adobe,

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering or business strongly preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, additional relevant work experience is acceptable.
• 2–5 years in commercial construction with a GC is preferred.
• Prior on-site construction experience is highly desirable.
• Passion for construction and quality work; strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to use MS Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam and JD Edwards.

Responsibilities

• Support budget creation and management for assigned projects.
• Assist in scheduling, milestones, and owner reporting.
• Prepare pre-construction RFP packages.
• Help conduct project meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and pay applications processes.
• Collaborate with superintendents and site operations teams throughout the project life cycle.
