Job summary

King & Spalding LLP seeks attorneys for its sponsor-side project finance group. Candidates should have familiarity with project finance, or a blend of project and acquisition finance, gained at a top-tier law firm.

Expertise in credit, cash waterfall, and security documentation, and diligence of large renewable and conventional power, infrastructure, and energy projects are essential. Strong closings experience and knowledge of tax equity financings are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in project finance and acquisition finance at a top-tier national or international law firm.
• Experience with credit, cash waterfall and security documentation.
• Diligence of large renewable and conventional power, infrastructure and energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support closings for project finance and leveraged finance transactions in power, infrastructure and energy.
• Coordinate with lender and sponsor sides; manage documentation packages and closing deliverables.
• Familiarity with tax equity financings and related financings for renewables and infrastructure.
