Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company in Greenville, SC seeks a motivated student pursuing a BS in Civil, Mechanical, or Mining Engineering for a hands-on internship.

You will assist Project Engineers with project development, collaborate with Fabrication, Welding, Process Control, Electrical, and Maintenance teams, and gain exposure to core aggregate processes, plant reliability, QC testing, and process modeling with AggFlow.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Civil, Mechanical, or Mining Engineering preferred.
• Relevant coursework and extracurriculars will be taken into consideration.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineers with project development needs.
• Collaborate with Fabrication, Welding, Process Control, Electrical, and Maintenance teams.
• Update operational drawings and minor equipment layouts using CAD tools.
• Analyze plant flow and efficiency with AggFlow.
• Prepare project status reports and meeting minutes.
