Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. This role supports scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and project performance for projects of basic complexity with close collaboration to PMs and teams.

The candidate will develop time-phased forecasts, monitor costs, and prepare earned value and status reports while using Primavera and EcoSys tools in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a US citizen for federal compliance and background checks.
• Basic knowledge of project management including budgeting, planning and control.
• Strong communication and teamwork to operate in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Gather project progress data from PMs and teams to update schedules and costs.
• Develop time-phased cost and resource forecasts; monitor baselines.
• Prepare routine Earned Value reports and cost status communications.
• Support document management and project change impact analysis.
