CDM Smith is seeking an Entry Project Controls Specialist to join our Project Controls Team. This role supports schedule tracking, budgeting, forecasting and reporting on projects of basic complexity.

As an entry-level professional, you will work under supervision with project managers and teams, using Primavera and EcoSys, to develop time-phased cost forecasts and monitor progress. This position offers a hybrid work model and opportunities for growth within a values-driven firm.

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship due to federal contract requirements.
• Entry-level knowledge of project management methodologies and finance concepts.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with Primavera and EcoSys software.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel; able to organize documentation.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% or less.

Responsibilities

• Supports compliance with internal procedures and updates project data.
• Develops time-phased project cost and resource forecasts.
• Monitors progress of project deliverables and prepares status reports.
• Performs basic financial analyses and routine reporting.
• Maintains document management for project records.
• Performs other duties as required.
