Job summary

Amentum is seeking a detail-oriented Project Controls Analyst to support schedule development, cost tracking, and performance reporting across engineering and construction programs in Hanover, MD. The role assists senior staff and project managers in implementing project controls standards within secure environments.

Responsibilities include developing schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project, maintaining cost logs, and delivering routine dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years of experience in project controls, project management, financial analysis, or related discipline.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; active clearance preferred.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Basic budgeting, cost tracking, and project lifecycle knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel and other financial analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost trackers, and reporting tools.
• Support baseline creation by gathering scope, schedule, and cost data.
• Assist with earned value reporting and budget performance reviews.
• Prepare routine cost reports and trend analyses for internal reviews.
• Coordinate with project teams to gather data and ensure accurate reporting.
