Job summary

Amentum in Hanover, MD is seeking a detail‑oriented Project Controls Analyst to support schedule development, cost tracking, and performance reporting across engineering and construction programs.

You will work with senior staff to implement project controls standards in secure environments, coordinate with project teams, and help maintain schedules and cost systems while pursuing growth in federal programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, finance, business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in project controls, project management, financial analysis, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules, cost trackers, and reporting tools across engineering and construction projects.
• Compile and validate data for schedule updates, earned value reporting, and budget performance reviews.
• Support baseline creation by gathering scope, schedule, and cost data and ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Establish regular cadence with project teams and stakeholders to provide ongoing support and ensure communication.
