Job summary

You will participate in startup/shutdown, collect samples, perform basic analyses, and work with maintenance to improve efficiency. A high school diploma and technical training are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years post high school technical training preferred.
• Must pass tests including mechanical aptitude, mathematics and reading comprehension.
• Experience troubleshooting and finding solutions.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant equipment and monitor the process operation.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform routine rounds, collect samples, and conduct basic lab analyses.
• Assist with startup, shutdown and operation of processes and equipment.
• Work with maintenance to maximize efficiency and address upsets.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
