Job summary

West Coast Trial Lawyers is seeking a Junior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to support the litigation team from filing through resolution. This role targets attorneys with 1–3 years of experience who want to build strong litigation skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with senior attorneys and partners, gaining hands-on experience in case strategy, discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

Qualifications

• Active California Bar in good standing.
• 1–5 years of litigation experience (PI preferred).
• Strong writing, research, and analytical abilities.
• Exposure to discovery, motions, or depositions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing a caseload of personal injury matters through the litigation process.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Support depositions, including preparation of materials and summaries.
• Conduct legal research and assist in drafting memoranda and briefs.
• Assist in preparing cases for hearings, mediations, and trial.
• Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel under attorney supervision.
• Maintain organized case files and track deadlines.
