Job summary

A. Duie Pyle invites you to join its Leadership Development Program in Indiana.

This 24-week, hands-on training blends classroom instruction with on-the-job experiences to build core skills in operations, brokerage, finance and the transportation industry. You will start at the nearest Pyle terminal, rotate through dock roles and ride along in trucks while preparing for advancement into a leadership position within the network after program completion.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willing to relocate within the Pyle network after program.

Responsibilities

• Shadowing Pyle leaders to develop leadership skills through on-the-job experiences, project assignments and formal training
• Understanding “teamwork” – learning how all team members and roles impacts the operation
• Participating in classroom style learning to develop industry and company knowledge, and develop professional relationships with high level leadership
• Performing several different positions and working on various shifts to gain hands-on experience
