Job summary

The Landings Golf & Athletic Club in Savannah, GA seeks an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent for the Deer Creek Course. You will assist in budgeting, agronomic planning, and daily course operations, including irrigation, maintenance, and staff leadership.

Ideal candidates bring golf course maintenance experience, leadership skills, and knowledge of turf care, with a Georgia pesticide license or ability to obtain one. Relocation assistance is provided.

Qualifications

• BS or AS in turf grass management or related certificate.
• Georgia pesticide license or ability to obtain.
• Experience leading golf course maintenance teams.
• Knowledge of budgets and pest control products.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of pumps, irrigation, and drainage systems.
• Supervise daily course preparation and setup for events.
• Calibrate sprayers and fertilizers; assist in chemical applications.
• Inspect turf and landscapes; manage pesticide and fertilizer needs.
• Train staff and enforce safety policies.
