Crosswinds Golf Club in Savannah, GA, is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the maintenance of the 27-hole facility, including the Championship course and Par 3 course. The role supports daily opening/closing, course setup, equipment servicing, and supervision of hourly staff. Opportunity to advance toward a Chemical Spray License.

Located in Savannah, this public facility features modern irrigation and a Toptracer Driving Range. The Head Superintendent reports to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and manage the daily opening and closing of the maintenance facility and all associated procedures.
• Assist with the management of the daily setup and maintenance of the golf course.
• Ensure equipment is running and serviced daily, weekly, monthly and yearly.
• Assist with managing hourly maintenance workers.
• Report issues to the Head Superintendent and stand in when absent.
• Follow proper PO procedures for ordering consumables and repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance facility and equipment.
• Learn about application of chemicals, fertilizers and fungicides; work toward Chemical Spray License.
