Savannah Lakes Village is seeking a skilled Golf Course Manager/Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to lead the maintenance of our golf courses. You will supervise greens, tees, roughs and fairways, manage equipment and irrigation systems, and work with the Director of Golf Operations to meet safety and quality standards.

You should have an associate degree in turfgrass/landscape management and at least two years of relevant experience, with a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain SC

Qualifications

• Associates degree in turfgrass and/or landscape management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience as Golf Course Manager or Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at a resort or private club setting or in a related field.
• Knowledge of maintenance principles, practices and methods; thorough understanding of golf rules and strategies.
• Knowledge of operation and maintenance of landscaping and irrigation systems.
• Valid driver's license with a 3-year good driving record; ability to obtain SC pesticide license within six months.
• Class A certification through the GCSAA is recommended, though not required.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Director of Golf Operations/Maintenance in the overall management of golf course(s) assigned.
• Supervise maintenance of greens, tees, roughs and fairways; fertilization, herbicide and insecticide programs.
• Direct maintenance and repair of a wide variety of motorized and mechanical equipment.
• Assist with inventory control and equipment maintenance programs.
• Plan, lay out and supervise maintenance of greens, tees, roughs and fairways; schedule work and supervise employees and equipment.
